Note from Alice Hubert

It was a hot and humid weekend near Peoria for the 12th annual Endure for the Cure event.  It rained on Saturday, which cooled things off, but increased the humidity on Sunday.  It was an approximately 11.5 mile course on Saturday, and with an additional loop, more than 12 on Sunday.  We were given 2 hours and 15 minutes, but I think Goodie has a two hour time in his mind, because we finished early both days.   The trails were excellent; in most places they were nice wide paths around meadows, or service roads through woods.  There was one tight corner in the woods, but it was do-able if your horse would slow down enough to make the corner.  Goodie was going too fast and we overshot it, and then had to try and back up.  In “Penguin watching the deer”, there is a deer on the right side, in the middle of the photo.  Almost all of us saw an abundance of wildlife.

  • Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
However imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give
your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this website could
definitely be one of the very best in its field. Good blog!
