@Xfinity You send out a new router by request of a customer who then discovers she can't activate it because she didn't write down critical info 14 yrs ago. Comcast won't pick up phone, just a ******* phone tree of despair.

@comcastcares My complaint isn’t that you’re doing maintenance. It’s that the only way you notify customers these scheduled events are going to happen is by forcing them to proactively keep checking an app. You could easily let people sign up for emails or texts when you know work is coming.

Hey Comcast, give us a heads-up before shutting down our internet to force a mandatory router update; really love it happening out of nowhere without any warning. Yet another thing to add to the list of things I hate about this company; it’s also a monopoly in my area. #Comcast
