Some Comments on Point Chaser
It was a beautiful day for driving on Saturday. There was a nice gentle breeze which helped the horses stay cool, and the sun shone all day long. There were a lot of riders on the trail, including quite a few pleasure riders who hadn’t known there was an event that weekend. But they were all really nice, and didn’t mind sharing the trail with carts. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the number of hunters out there. They seemed a bit surprised to see horses and carts, but they too were quite pleasant to work with. I apologized to a couple of them because my cart was so noisy and was probably scared away any game.
