My accident at Endless Valley was completely my fault. Steve had taken a map of the trails and marked trails he felt would be not be good for driving. We took the wrong trail. I would definitely go back there but I would not take a passenger in my cart. Those are long hills. We stayed in the farm house and it was great. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, 3 big corals for horses. And it cost $84.00 for two nights each. Lori

I did something really dumb last Wednesday at Endless Valley Stable. I tried a part of the trail that I should have said no to and ended up falling out of my new cart and landed on rocks. We went to the ER after a couple of hours. I thought I broke some ribs but they were badly bruised. My cart drove over my leg also. the cart and horse(Laura Lee) are both fine. I am really bruised and sore. It was not one of my better ideas. Lori
Endless Valley has given a few of us bruises! I rolled on a sharp turn and Derrick Dupler got dumped into a ravine the same year! I hope they can develop a fairly safe driving trail for DRAWarama.
The owner, Steve, knows the trails and I would think we could get a good 6 or more miles out of it. I think the trails there are fun but can be challenging. It wasn’t wet but some of the hills seemed slippery with two adults in my cart. The farm house is a great place to stay. Jac, if you and Derrick had problems it makes me feel better. I could not drive my truck and trailer home so Tom took a day off of work to come and get me. Lori
I don’t want to discourage drivers from Endless Valley, just commiserating with you. Some driving situations simply require more vigilance and attention than others.
I think both Derrick and I would admit that our accidents were due to driver error. I was allowing Scooter to follow some riders, too fast around a corner with an exposed tree root and flipped the cart. Derrick was allowing Rhia to pick her trail and the (rider) trail simply got too close to the ditch for the cart and it went over the edge.
I’m hoping some MDDA members will take advantage of Steve’s knowledge and willingness to work with them and identify safe driving trails.
