What a grand time it was at Iron Oak, despite the rain. All the folks I met from the MDDA were very welcoming, helpful and genuinely nice people. I have fallen in love with the sport and feel so welcomed by the members of the MDDA. A great big “THANK YOU” for taking this newbie under you wings.

Now I need to get the proper cart for my 46″ Shetland pony. I would appreciate all suggestions, as I am a ignorant of what to look for in a cart. Been looking at the Pacific Carriage Mfg. Inc. Training and Show Cart. Also at the Messenger by Fully Equipped Outdoors. What I like about the PCMI’s cart is that it’s rugged and the shafts are removable, it can covert to driving a pair,(once the training of Dottie’s daughter is finalized) and it can be purchased with eventing shafts. What I don’t like about it is it all adds up $$$$.
The FEO’s Messenger is classic, probably smooth riding and reasonably priced. No major options on this cart except for seat options (one could purchase an second seat and use it for show) paint or wood finish , brass or stainless furnishing. What to do, what to do?????

I hope some of you have advice and suggestions.

Thanks to you all for a great weekend. I understand how much organization and how many volunteers are needed to put on this and future events. If I can be of any help, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Linda

  • The pdf file will not load. I disabled the “x” and it still did not work.
