Rule Change- no more “Limited Distance”

At the February board meeting, it was decided to eliminate the “Limited Distance” category, and replace it with a Restricted Mileage category.  One of the reasons for this change was because the Colorama drive only offers a 25 mile drive, which isn’t very “limited.”

The Restricted Mileage category is for those drivers and horses who complete less than 100 miles in a season.  A minimum of three drives will be required.  The one with the most points wins.  Any driver/horses(s) combination can compete.

Yes Sharon, that’s correct. One driver, one horse (or pair). Those darned Casserlys and their pair make it more challenging to define the category.

The same driver/equine(s) unit must amass all the points, right? I can’t drive Horse A at one event and Horse B at another and have both events count toward the same point total?
